Is the matriculation list the same as the university admission list?

No. The university admission list shows who the institution admitted, while the JAMB matriculation list shows admissions officially recorded and approved by JAMB.

How can my name appear on the JAMB Matriculation List?

Once you have printed out your admission letter and result slip, your name will be added to the list.

Are Direct Entry candidates among the JAMB Matriculation List?

Direct Entry candidates are advised to enroll for JAMB regularization for their names to appear on the Matriculation List.

Can I check the JAMB Matriculation List with my phone?

Yes. You can check the matriculation list on your phone by visiting your institution’s portal through any web browser.

Can I change my course after my name appears on the matriculation list?

No. Once your admission has been uploaded to JAMB and your name appears on the matriculation list, you cannot change your course. However, some institutions allow internal course changes after matriculation, subject to faculty approval.
