How to Check and Accept Admission on JAMB CAPS (Step-by-Step)

Step 1: Verify Your O’Level Upload

Before you even check your status, you need to confirm that JAMB “sees” your results. This is the #1 reason many qualified candidates get stuck with “Not Admitted” status.

If you used “Awaiting Result” during registration and haven’t uploaded your O’Level yet, your admission will be delayed or denied. So make sure you have your O’level result uploaded

How to Check and Upload O’Level:

  1. Log in to the e-Facility Portal at efacility.jamb.gov.ng
  2. Click “Check Admission Status” → “Access my CAPS”
  3. On the left menu, click “My O’Level”
  4. If the page is blank or shows “Awaiting Result”, visit a CBT centre immediately to upload it

No upload, no admission. Simple. Go to any accredited JAMB CBT centre, JAMB office, or registration centre with:

  • Your O’Level result (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB)
  • The email address used during JAMB registration
  • Your JAMB profile code
