Step 1: Verify Your O’Level Upload

If you used “Awaiting Result” during registration and haven’t uploaded your O’Level yet, your admission will be delayed or denied. So make sure you have your O’level result uploaded

1. Log in to the e-Facility Portal at efacility.jamb.gov.ng
2. Click “Check Admission Status” → “Access my CAPS” 
3. On the left menu, click “My O’Level”
4. If the page is blank or shows “Awaiting Result”, visit a CBT centre immediately to upload it

No upload, no admission. Simple. Go to any accredited JAMB CBT centre, JAMB office, or registration centre with:

• Your O’Level result (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB)
• The email address used during JAMB registration
• Your JAMB profile code

Step 2: How to Check Admission Status on JAMB CAPS

1. Visit the official site: Go to https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng
2. Log in: Enter the email and password you used during JAMB registration

3. Find the tab: On your dashboard, locate and click “Check Admission Status”
4. Enter details: Select 2026 as the exam year and type in your JAMB Registration Number
5. The CAPS button: Click “Access my CAPS” 
6. View status: Click “Admission Status” on the left-side menu

Option B: On Your Phone (Mobile Users)

Important pro-tip: If you only see a blank “Welcome” page, tap the three dots (⋮) at the top right of Chrome and select “Desktop site”. Without this, the sidebar with important buttons won’t show.

If you don’t have data or network is “doing somehow,” use USSD:

1. Use the exact SIM number you registered JAMB with
2. Dial: *55019*1*YourJAMBRegNumber# 
   • For example: *55019*1*202612345678AB#
3. You’ll receive your admission status via SMS for just ₦50 airtime

Step 3: How to Accept Admission on JAMB CAPS

Once you’re inside the CAPS dashboard and see “ADMITTED” or “ADMISSION OFFERED” with your photo, follow these steps to accept admission:

On Desktop/Laptop:

1. Click on “Admission Status” on the left-side menu
2. If a school has cleared you, you’ll see “ADMITTED” or “ADMISSION OFFERED”
3. Below that, you’ll see two active buttons: “Accept Admission” and “Reject Admission”
4. Click “Accept Admission” 
5. A pop-up will ask for confirmation. Click “Yes” to confirm

On Mobile (with Desktop View):

1. After switching to Desktop View, tap “Admission Status” then “Search”
2. If admitted, “Accept Admission” and “Reject Admission” buttons will be active (not faint)
3. Click “Accept” to confirm your admission

Via SMS

1. Ensure you have airtime (₦50 per message)
2. Send SMS in this format: [Your Reg Number] ACCEPT or [Your Reg Number] REJECT
   • Example: 202550006742TY ACCEPT
3. Send to 55019 or 66019 
4. Wait a few minutes, then check your portal again to confirm your choice was recorded

Critical Warning: Once you accept, it’s final. You cannot reject it later to accept another school. Think carefully before clicking!

What to Do After You Accept Your Admission

Once you’ve clicked “Accept Admission,” you’re officially a student. But you aren’t done yet. follow the steps below to complete the process:

1. Print Your JAMB Admission Letter (₦1,000):
   • You must print this in color for school screening
   • Go to “Admission Letter” tab on your dashboard
   • This is mandatory for mobilization and NYSC
2. Print Your Official JAMB Result Slip (₦1,500):
   • Schools usually demand the “Original” version with your passport photograph
   • Print both “Original” and “Copy” versions if possible
3. Check the Matriculation List:
   • Go to “Matriculation List” tab on CAPS or https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/CheckMatriculationList
   • Enter your details to ensure JAMB recognizes you as a bona-fide student

   • Pay the Acceptance Fee immediately
