- Your WAEC Examination Number (10 digits: 7-digit centre number + 3-digit candidate number)
- The Examination Year (2025)
- The Type of Examination (e.g., WASSCE School Candidates)
- A valid e-PIN or Scratch Card
- A phone (for SMS or app) or internet access (for website or app)
How to Check Your WAEC Results
There are three reliable methods to check your WAEC results:
Method 1. Online Method via WAEC’s Official Website
- Purchase your WAEC scratch card from a credible vendor.
- Visit the WAEC result-checking portal. or click: www.waecdirect.org.
- Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number (7-digit centre number + 3-digit candidate number).
- Select the year of your examination (2026).
- Choose your exam type: “School Candidate Result”.
- Input your PIN and serial number (found on your WAEC scratch card).
- Click on the “Submit” button to view your results.
Method 2. SMS Method (MTN, Glo, Airtel only)
- Open your SMS app.
- Type: WAEC*ExamNumber*PIN*2025 (no spaces). i.e. WAECExamNumberPIN ExamYear
Example: WAEC*4250101234*123456789012*2025 - Send it to 32327.
- You’ll receive your result in a reply message. (Cost: ₦30 per message)
Method 3. WAEC Mobile App Method
- Download the WAEC Result Checker app from the Google Play Store or Apple Store.
- Open the app and follow the prompts to enter your exam number, year, and PIN.
- View and download your result straight from the app.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Double-check your exam number and PIN before submitting.
- Don’t reuse an already-used scratch card.
- Avoid checking on third-party or fake WAEC websites.
